About Adopte Une Sister
A fan site, its editorial approach, and the person behind the project.
An unofficial fan site
Adopte Une Sister is a site created and run by an individual fan of the Les Sisters series. It is not published, sponsored, or endorsed by Bamboo Édition, by the comic's creators William Maury and Christophe Cazenove, or by the producers of the animated series (Bamboo Production, Samka Productions). All protected material — characters, artwork, episode titles, excerpts — belongs to its respective rights holders; this site uses it purely for illustration, as non-commercial fan art and information.
The site’s name is a nod to the title of a season 2 episode ("Adopte une Sister.com"), with no connection to any official service from the license.
Why this site exists
The project grew out of the same instinct behind many fan sites: gathering in one place what's otherwise scattered across dozens of forums, half-empty wikis, or old pages nobody updates anymore. Wendy, Marine, and the rest of the family deserved an up-to-date English-language reference, with complete character profiles, the exact list of episodes and volumes, and a place to quickly find a quote or a word from the Sisters' glossary.
The site was fully rebuilt in 2026 (migration to Nuxt 3, new design, new pages) and keeps getting updated as the show evolves — new volumes, new broadcasts, new spin-off content.
Who runs this site
The site is run by Spidermas, an independent webmaster who has managed a network of reference sites about animation and comic licenses for several years — including sites dedicated to Bleach, Berserk, the works of Hayao Miyazaki, Final Fantasy, and Mushoku Tensei, all gathered under the banner of Anim-World . Adopte Une Sister follows the same approach: verified profiles, cited sources, regular updates as new material comes out.
For any question about the publisher's identity or how the site works, full legal information is available on the Legal Notice.
How the content is written
Character profiles, the show overview, and the list of comic volumes are written after watching the episodes, reading the Bamboo Édition albums, and consulting official public sources (publisher press releases, production fact sheets, broadcast information from the relevant channels).
The News section relays and summarizes information already published by media outlets or specialized sites (TV press, comic sites, official social media); the original source is always credited in each article, and we encourage readers to check it for full details.
